Milford Means Business forum scheduled
State rep Kim Rose, D-Milford, will host a "Milford
Means Business" event.
Lindy Gold from the Department of Economic and Community Development will be on hand to give a talk on programs available to small businesses through the state, such as grants/loans and the new STEP Up (subsidized employment and training).

Rep. Rose says in a press release, "I see all of the businesses
throughout the state receiving grants and they are never from Milford. I
thought that this event would expose our small businesses to what is available
and how to apply. It is my hope that many of our Milford business owners will take
advantage of this event."
Democratic Mayor Ben Blake, Milford Chamber President and
CEO Kathy Alagno, and Bob Gregory , Community Development Director will also be
on hand. This event is open to all Milford business owners.
The event is from 8 to 9:30 June 13 at Milford City Hall.
