Boat show coming to Milford

SailQuest Boat Show will take place in Milford, Connecticut from May 18-20, 2012. This unique and family-oriented show will feature new sailboats, trawlers, downeast-style powerboats and select brokerage yachts for sale, from 20 to over 50 feet long. Additionally, a variety of companies will be on-site offering small boats, gear and other products and services, including financing and insurance. Events include Jeremy Cage’s, Senior Vice President of Global Snacks at PepsiCo, Saturday afternoon presentation about achieving his dream when he took a career sabbatical and sailed the world with his young family. Attendees will be able to take advantage of daily introduction-to-sailing opportunities, including sailing trips with certified instructors. North Sails will be on hand to teach children how to make their very own sails with timeless sailmaking techniques. The brand new J/70 will be available for demo sails! SailQuest Boat Show will be held at Milford Lisman Landing Marina during May 18-20, 2012, 10-5pm daily. The Marina is in historic downtown Milford, minutes from I-95 and the Merritt Parkway, steps from Metro North Railroad and directly on Long Island Sound.
