Registration is open for the Katoya Day Camp for girls in Milford


MILFORD — Katoya Day Camp features swimming, jewelry making, nature discovery, and hiking for girls in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Bus service is available for day campers from New Haven, East Haven, West Haven, Milford, Orange, and Stratford.

The camp operates Monday through Friday, beginning on June 25 and is open on the Fourth of July.
The two-week sessions from July 23-Aug. 1 features astronomy programs. Space is the Place (for girls in first through third grades) teaches youngest campers how to tell time by the stars, have fun with gravity, and create art with moon sand. Discovering Astronomy (for girls in grades 4 and up) is for older campers to discover constellations in the night sky.
