Coastal Corridor Bus Study Information
The attached press release (in English and Spanish) provides information on the upcoming Public Information Sessions for the Coastal Corridor Bus Study, which analyzes bus operations along the U.S. Route 1 Corridor between Greenwich and Madison, and makes short- and long-term recommendations to improve the quality and reliability of service.

The public is urged to provide their feedback to the Study team and region’s bus operators on the proposals while they are still in the planning stages. Bus routes analyzed by the Coastal Corridor Bus Study include the Coastal Link (jointly operated by Norwalk Transit District, Greater Bridgeport Transit and Milford Transit District), the 11 and 41 Routes (operated by CT Transit’s Stamford Division), and the “O”, “S” and 55X Routes (operated by CT Transit’s New Haven Division). The Coastal Corridor Bus Study, sponsored by the Norwalk Transit District is being administered by the South Western Regional Planning Agency (SWRPA) and conducted by AECOM Technical Services, Inc.
