Enjoy a Play at HCC this Thursday and Friday

BRIDGEPORT – Time Line, a panoramic view of the African-American experience from enslavement in Africa to the present day, will be performed at Housatonic Community College Thursday, Feb. 24 and Friday, Feb. 25.

The play, written by HCC alumni Kevin Green of Milford and Tenisi Davis of New Haven, along with New Haven’s LA Toya Sullivan, is driven by monologue, dialogue, dancing, and music ranging from jazz to modern day Hip Hop. The 15-member cast of actors, dancers and musicians will include the three playwrights as well as HCC Theater Arts Program Coordinator Geoff Sheehan of Newington, founder of the Hartford-based Capital Classics Theater Company.

The performances, which are open to the public at no charge, will be held Thursday, Feb. 24 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 25, at 6:30 p.m. in HCC’s Performing Arts Center in Lafayette Hall. It is being sponsored by the HCC Student Senate.
