Lauralton Hall exhibiting student work at Milford Library

Many media represented in the show

The Fine Arts Department at Lauralton Hall is displaying student art work during the month of February at Milford Public Library.
The show is comprised of portraits, still-lifes, landscapes, and abstract works created in state-of-the-art studios on campus, the school said in a statement.
"The students have expressed themselves in such media as pencil, pen and ink, pastel, colored pencil, and acrylic," the statement said.

The library is located at 57 New Haven Ave.
The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours, Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In the photo, contributed by the school, Christina Breisler,’11 of Norwalk with her portrait of Benjamin Franklin completed in pastels.  This is one of the many student works on display during February at Lauralton’s art exhibit at the Milford Public Library.
