Business writing at the New Haven Library

NEW HAVEN - The New Haven Public Library will continue its popular free monthly Subway Seminar Series with "The Business Writing Code," presented by Charles Euchner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16.
The seminar is designed for business and nonprofit professionals who want to polish their communications skills, according to a statement.
"Euchner’s forthcoming book, "The Writing Code," shows "how stories can be used to master technique and improve analysis, the statement said. Euchner will demonstrate how using the Writing Code boosts organizational communications, more effectively engaging board members, staff and potential clients or donors, the statement said.
Euchner, shown, earned his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University. He served as executive director of the Rappaport Institute at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, coordinating research on urban and regional politics and policy, the statement said. He has written widely on public affairs, particularly grassroots politics.
Subway Seminars are held take the third Thursday of each month, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, at the downtown branch of the library, 133 Elm St. The series is funded by the Frederick A.
