Irish music and song to be a highlight at the Fairfield Library on St. Patrick’s Day

The event is free and open to the public

You can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your friends at the Fairfield Public Library, the agency said.
From 3 to 4 p.m. March 17 in the 'New Book' area at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road, Irish Music in CT, will play Irish songs, library organizers said in a statement.
"As part of the new Diversity Initiative of the Town of Fairfield, the Library will present an hour of Irish music with Fairfield’s own Damian and Sally Connolly," the statement said. "Sally will play the flute and Damian will play fiddle, accordion and some guitar to accompany the Irish songs."
  Damien
Connolly hails from Co. Clare, Ireland and has performed at Carnegie Hall, NYU and Boston College, the statement said. Sally Connolly grew up in Easton, in a home steeped in folk music, the statement said.
All programs at the Fairfield Public Library are open to the public and free of charge.
