Just a short trip away: History awaits at the David Humphreys House
ANSONIA — David Humphreys House, 37 Elm St., will be open for guided tours 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 18, and every third Saturday of the month.
Led by docents, the tour covers the keeping room, Sarah Riggs Humphreys’ parlor, The Rev. Humphreys’ study and a bedroom off the keeping room, know an as the borning room. Spinning and weaving rooms are also included in the tour.
Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and children ages 8 and older and free for children younger than 8.
