Come Meet the Milford Aldermen Monday night

Milford Board of Aldermen Chairman, Philip J. Vetro, announced that the Board of Alderman will initiate constituent meeting opportunities on nights that the board convenes in regular session. The new program starts on Monday, February 6, 2012.

This initiative, “Good of the Community,” enables Milford residents to meet informally with their aldermanic representatives at City Hall on the evening of regularly-scheduled meetings. Residents are encouraged to meet with their aldermen between 7:15 and 7:30 which precedes the opening of their formal meeting at 7:30. The Board of Alderman will continue to hear public comments addressed to the entire board at the opening of the session.

“We believe in open, representative government, and this procedure provides Milford taxpayers and residents an additional opportunity to speak informally with their aldermanic representatives. We encourage residents—including small groups—to avail themselves of this opportunity," Chairman Vetro said.
