Yard party Saturday to benefit Swim Across the Sound
Hostess plans to swim Long Island Sound and the English Channel
WOODBRIDGE — Swimmer Ann Louise Onton will hold a benefit yard party from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at her home, 10 Hunter’s Ridge.
Onton is going to swim solo across Long Island Sound. She is also going to swim across the English Channel Aug. 20-26.

Onton’s swims will be in memory of Dorothy Donnelly, who died of cancer in 2000.
Donnelly was a former Olympic swimmer and a pioneer of masters swimming.
