Say happy 100th birthday to the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven

WOODBRIDGE - State Sen. Joseph J. Crisco, Jr., D-Woodbridge, right, honors the 100th anniversary of the Jewish Community Center on Jan. 2, with JCC Chief Executive Officer Scott Cohen, 2nd from right, JCC Director Shelley Gans, 2nd from left, and state Rep. Themis Klarides, D-Derby, who presented a formal citation from the General Assembly.
The mission of the JCC 'is to facilitate total wellness through programs that stimulate mind, body, and spirit;' it broke ground for its Woodbridge facility in 1991 and dedicated its building there in 1993, a release from the Republican press office said.
