UCONN women's basketball stars to conduct a summer camp

WOODBRIDGE— UConn women’s basketball star Nykesha Sales and current UConn stand-outs Stefanie Dolson and Heather Buck are conducting a basketball camp for girls ages 8-15 at the JCC, 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge, Monday, July 30 through Friday, August 3.  The camp is the result of a partnership with the Woodbridge and Bethany Recreation Departments and All Pro Sports. Girls of all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome.

Nykesha Sales is a former UCONN All American, CT Sun All Star, and the 2nd all time leading scorer in UConn women’s history.  She currently plays basketball overseas and runs youth camps and clinics for the NBA all over the world.  Stefanie Dolson is the starting center on the Uconn Huskies women’s basketball team.  Last season she led the team in rebounding, tallied 20 double-figure performances, including four 20-plus games. Heather Buck is a current center/forward on the Huskies and played in 26 games during the 2011-2012 season.  She is a two-time Gatorade High School State Player of the Year. Other players are expected to join the camp during the week.
