It's time for Girl Scout cookies

More than 2.6 million boxes of Girl Scout cookies arrive in Connecticut on Saturday. Girl Scouts throughout the state will pick up their orders at 20 different drop locations and prepare them for delivery to Connecticut residents, according to the Girl Scouts. The annual cookie drive is the most significant fundraiser for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut and is vital to supporting the educational programs the organization provides for girls throughout the year.
