Amann officially exploring Governor run

State House Speaker James Amann, D-Milford, told the Register at Thursday night's Devon Revitalization meeting that he recently filed the necesary papers with the state to form an exploratory run for governor. Last month Amann said he has planned to file the papers.

Amann said he plans a major press conference Jan. 31, and believes he is a viable candidate for the job.
